Dawn Dinger, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Dinger hails from Elkhart, Indiana. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Purdue University in 1993 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997, also from Purdue. After a year of practicing veterinary medicine in Indiana, she completed a rotating small animal internship at a large specialty hospital in Detroit in 1999.
Dr. Dinger then moved to Pittsburgh and spent 11 years practicing at a local emergency hospital and another two years at a local small animal practice. She joined Pittsburgh East in July of 2012.
Dr. Dinger has two dogs, five cats, and a variety of rodents. Her professional interests include feline medicine and endocrinology. When not at work, Dr. Dinger enjoys hiking, gardening, home improvement, and photography.
